Web host Advanced Internet Technologies, Inc. (AIT.com) has challenged its dedicated hosting competitors to a price challenge on its dedicated server offerings. “We are confident that we can match or beat our competitor’s pricing and performance all day long,” explained AIT's COO Mike Roberts.

AIT is a privately held company with headquarters in Fayetteville, North Carolina where it owns and operates a 93,000 square foot data center. The company was started in 1995 by army veteran Clarence Briggs. Starting in a garage AIT has become one of the world's largest web hosting companies catering to a broad global customer case which includes Fortune 500 companies and government organizations. It's services include WordPress hosting, VPS offerings, reseller hosting and hosted Microsoft Exchange packages.

As part of its "Competitor Challenge on Dedicated Servers" AIT will "conference call" customers and their current providers to compare their dedicated server packages against AIT offerings. The company "guarantees" it can provide "a lower priced plan with better or equivalent performance and hardware".

AIT offers two dedicated server plans (or options). The Customer Loyalty Plan sees a server's costs reduced by 50% for its lifetime once a customer has rented it for 6 months. The option is ideal for customers with multiple servers and customization needs. AIT also offers an Upfront Discount Plan which provides a 25% discount on single processor servers. The option is ideal for customers wishing to purchase one to two servers and who require low monthly payments.

AIT options come with a 99.99% uptime guarantee and the company offers a team of Network Engineers and Systems Administrators that provide ongoing technical support.
