It is bad. It is a charge of high priced if it sees as a shared service. VPS is a poor spec. no root. lot of errors. Poor memory. In one machine, it is a lot of users. The excuse is prompt. Anything cannot be done with this VPS.

I am very impressed with the overall experience I have had with WestHost. I have been a client now for just over 2 years. Support is a step above excellent. Reliability and availability to my site is truly exceptional. Highly recommended.

BE CAREFUL!!! WestHost does NOT allow pop email mail boxes over 75MB with their VPS packages. That means that when a users email goes over 75MB they compress it then delete it. They won't tell you this until its all ready too late. Do your resea

I had a terrible experience when I tried to transfer a domain to a different registrar - runaround, extorted anothe payment, then let my domain expire anyway!

They have been solid. Support is always fine. No downtime. Have flexible payment options.

I have had my site hosted by WestHost since 2001 and I can't say anything other than they have been the best hosting company I have been with even better than OLM. I do not understand those who say that they are slow, what do you mean by slow?

When Westhost has a problem it they are slow to fix it. Email delayed for hours. Site down for several hours. The longer they are around the worse it gets. It's time to make a change in hosts.

Preinstalled software is old/obsolete (Perl 5.6.0, Spamassassin 2.5.2, IMP & Neomail, etc). Virtual Private Server doesn't allow ROOT access. No plans for IMAP support. Slim doc.
