Worst hosting provider I have had in the past 15 years on the net. Support is mishandled by some third party (third world country) company that is clueless when it comes to hosting problems. 5 days after signup and still no site and no progress.

In my opinion, once you register domains with 1and1, it is like being mired in the La Brea Tar pits. I had 730 domains registered with them and I am trying to extricate myself. I recommend you avoid it like the plague.

customer spport is outsources to a country where They do not think ahead. Do not anticipate. Do not think about how to be helpful. Do not think outside the box. Never go beyond their scripts. Do not care one bit about the customers needs.

Worst hosting company in the world! Now being investigated by FTC, BBB, and the Attorney General in PA. Watch for all the TV and radio stories about their fraudulent activity.

I wouldn'y Reccomend these jokers to anyone as I've tried to upload 3 script and have had no luck so now im cancelling my contract as the support I recieved is usless or im always on hold. The customer support reps have no knowledge of web hosting at all

How long of down time can you accept?It happened a 36 hours ago and it is still down. I called number of times. The only I heard is Sorry we are working on it what kind of problem can let them abandon client's the most interests?

Slow and incompetent support. A lot of downtime. Can be days in a month. Had data loss too. Take forever to setup servers. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy. Only thing they are good at are cheap domains.

I currently have 4 different sites hosted through 1&1. I have not experienced any downtime whatsoever. All my sites run Wordpress, and 1&1 has had no problem handling it. I am running an independent install of WP, by the way. I have found no reason to

1&1 cust.svce. sucks. In the past their servers were down and went up when they wanted. Now tried to transfer my domain/webhosting to another provider, 1&1 instead of doing smooth / timely transfer, deleted my account/shut down my website indefinitely!!!

Their customer service rep at 1&1 walked me through setting up imap and changing my password and all 400 of my emails promptly disappeard! They won't check into it or return my email inquires. STAY AWAY from 1&1/

Crooks! Rather than cancel my expired domain registration, they auto-renewed me without any notice, and then sent me to collections - and then charged about $75 in penalties to reactivate me so I could formally cancel.

This company will charge you for the service that they did not provide. Even if you want to cancel the next day after you have been charged they will not allow this. This company has the worst customer service that I have seen in US. Horrible service.

Simply, 1and1 suck.. they can suspend your account any reason if they like. and there's no way you can negotiate getting your account back, even if you already paid money..

They have just blocked my business email accounts having made an administrative cock-up on collecting payment. I've been with them 5 years yet rather than call me, they instructed a debt collection agency... I now have to wait 48 hours for reconnection!

Extremly dissapointed. I have my site for 6 years now. Never any problems. One un-happy customer sent them email complaining about something that NEVER happen, they without any investigation turned off my emaill access. My business depends on it

They are crooks. DO NOT DEAL With THEM! Avoid at all costs! I forgot to pay and they incur me 15 pounds for nothing. This is not including threatening letters.

They have the worst customer service experience...i would never recommend it to NOBODY. i am using a different hosting provider for 4 years and tried different other hosting providers...none compares with www.1and1.com on terrible customer service

VERY bad customer service - I wouldn't recommend them to the Devil himself. They do not care if your server is lagging due to hardware issues, they do not care about your needs, and they certainly have strict guidelines of what you can use.
