The worst customer support. Told something different on every call to tech support. Most of the time we could not understand the support person. Web site was down for days while we switched from Windows to Linux (told to do so by 1&1). Extremely frust

Outstanding. I have had 1&1 for over a year and everything has been great. I have searched for better hosting provides but have found none. Features are great.

Be awared. Very bad customer service. Call billing department have to wait for at least an hour. The worst comes when you want to cancel the service. You have to complete several steps to cancel. Even you complete those steps, you are still billed.

1and1=0, appalling customer service, have sent dozens of emails over past month enquiring about products and services and have yet to receive one reply, incredibly frustrating signup process which has simple form validation problems...stay away.

Very good and reliable host, especially if you don't need a lot of support. Also great value for money, especially for domain names. So, if you e.g. sell/park domains through their sister company Sedo.com, nobody has a better deal for cheap .com domains.

I have used 1&1 for my art websites for the pass year and a half I have never had a problem with the hosting or email. On the whole Ive got to say they are 100% better than the other UK companies we have hosted with in the past. WELL DONE! www.1and1-uk.c

1&1 without warning suspended my fully paid up account. After hours on a premium rate help line number they are still unable to resolve the issue. Meanwhile i lose customers every day. Avoid it like the plague

Email support takes days, phone support puts you on hold for a very long time. And all I wanted was a quick change to an application directory for an asp.net application. *Sigh*

Support is horrible. Takes days to get a reply back. Web server was not configured correctly for the gateway and DNS servers. Also, they just raised prices considerably.

Worse than you can actually imagine. If we would have stayed with them we wouldn't have any customers left. Site was down multiple times per day and it was always a mystery to them as to why. Run, run away.

Horrendous. Beware. Bad service bad uptime slow servers Warning: to cancel a 1&1 account one needs to go to separate web site: cancel.1and1.com . You otherwise will be billed, even if you've moved your domains off their servers and otherwise do not
